…about Burned Witch stuff
May 2025: I was honored to receive the prestigious Status Award from the Croatian Musicians Union (HGU), in the category of Ethno Music, for my instrumental work on the mandolin and Dobrojlo.
November 2024: after some time away from the stage (since 2017), I’m out of live performing retirement and back in the game joining Zagreb-based band TV Eye as their guitarist and producer.
Three weeks later, still in November 2024: my homage to glam hard rock music, instrumental album “Sweet Hair O’ Metal” is out!
November 2024: yup, my Christmas album is out! Festive Cheer, Presents, Elves, Carols, Bells, Raindeers, Sparkle, Snow, Sleigh, you name it, got it all 🙂
May 2024: new instrumental ethno/world music fusion album “Sounds Of East & West” is out, introducing Dobrojlo on several songs!
March 2024: premiere of the first episode of the series Divlja ZOOna (Wild Zone), on Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) for which I composed the music. A full album was created for the seven-episode series. I was credited for the music under my actual name, Tomislav Šlogar.
March 2024: new instrumental album in garage rock style “Melodic Garage” is out! It is raw, loud, energetic, with snarling guitars, roaring basslines and thunderous drums and some more guitars 🙂
February 2024: “Tri poraza” is an album that encompasses the musical colors of the Balkans; Bosnia, Croatia, and Serbia.
October 2023: 1st instrumental album of acoustic miniatures “Guitar & Piano” is out… …two weeks later, still in October, three more albums “Pocket Funk”, “World Music” and “Halloween” were out! Yes, you could say I already had something ready 🙂
May 2022: first version of Dobrojlo is assembled…
Somewhere around July 2021: new old artist Burned Witch is born!
